Does it have to be a Austrian address?
Only if the shop delivers within Austria alone. Look for Zypern in the shop's list of delivery countries. If it is there, your Limassol address works like any other European one. If it is not, you need an address in Austria itself, and we would rather tell you now than after you have paid.
What our customers buy from Austria
Mostly sporting and outdoor goods, electronics, books and products a German shop has run out of. Austria's big home and grocery chains deliver within Austria, so they are not for an address abroad. The shops that are: Austrian webshops and specialists that sell across the EU, often the same products as their German neighbours.
Austrian shops write in German and list their delivery countries under Versand or Lieferländer, the same as German ones. Some deliver only to Austria and Germany; look for Zypern before you order.
How long it takes, and what it costs
Austrian orders usually reach our warehouse 5 to 9 working days after they are sent. Cyprus is an island at the far end of the EU, so a shop may take a little longer, and charge a little more, than within Austria. Then we forward it to you by economy or express, priced before you pay.
Parcels wait with us free for 30 days, so several Austrian orders can arrive, be combined and travel on as one box: one onward charge instead of several.
Taxes
The price at the checkout includes EU VAT, as it does for any European customer, and it is not refunded when we send the parcel on outside the EU. Your own country charges its import duty and taxes on arrival. Neither is part of our price.

- Is this a Austrian address?
- No. It is a street address in Limassol, Cyprus, which is in the EU. Austrian shops that deliver across the EU deliver to it; shops that deliver only within Austria do not.
- Can I pay with a card from outside the EU?
- Usually, yes. Shops check the delivery address and the card's country separately, and Cyprus is an ordinary EU delivery address. If a checkout refuses your card, tell us and we will look at it with you.
- Why buy from Austria rather than Germany?
- Often you need not: German shops carry more. But when a German shop is out of stock, or will not deliver to Cyprus, an Austrian shop selling the same product sometimes will.
- What if I need to return something?
- Ask us before the parcel is sent on. Once it is with us it can go back to the shop from Cyprus under the shop's own returns policy, and we will tell you what that involves.
