What this kind of order costs to forward
Flat-pack is dense: a chest of drawers can be 25–30 kg in a carton the size of a coffee table. That is one of the few cases where actual weight, not volume, decides the bill — so there is nothing to gain by repacking it, and a courier is usually cheaper than post above 20 kg. Check the product's shipping weight on the product page before you order; it is the single number that sets your cost.
Before you fill the basket
Three steps
- 1
Take your Cyprus address
Free, and it takes a minute. You get a Limassol street address with your own suite number — a real commercial address, not a PO box.
- 2
Order from IKEA Cyprus as normal
Use your suite address at the checkout and pay with your own card. The shop delivers domestically, which is the cheap leg.
- 3
We weigh it, you choose how it flies
We photograph and measure everything that arrives, show you Cyprus Post against live courier rates for your exact weight, and send it on. Hold parcels with us and we will consolidate them first.

Questions
- Can I order from IKEA Cyprus if I do not live in Cyprus?
- Yes. You take a free Limassol address with your own suite number, use it at IKEA Cyprus's checkout like any Cypriot customer, and we forward the parcel on to you once it reaches our warehouse.
- What does it cost to ship from IKEA Cyprus?
- It depends on weight and destination rather than on the shop. Opening the account is free and you pay only when you ship.
- Can I combine IKEA Cyprus orders with other parcels?
- Yes, and it is usually where the saving is. Postage is front-loaded — the first kilo costs more than the next four together — so one box of several orders beats several boxes, even when the combined weight is the same.
- Is there anything from IKEA Cyprus you cannot send?
- Cyprus Post caps a parcel at 30 kg, and large furniture cartons often exceed it or breach a courier's length limit. Anything over that goes as freight, which we quote separately.
