Questions
- Why does the size of the box matter?
- Carriers charge for the space a parcel takes up as well as its weight. They work out a volumetric weight — length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5,000 — and bill on whichever is greater. A large, light box can cost far more than its weight suggests.
- Is this the price I will pay?
- It is the price for the weight and size you enter, from the rates we use at checkout. Your real quote uses the weight and size we measure when the parcel arrives, so a tighter box than you expected costs less.
- What is included?
- Postage to the destination and our handling. Extras you ask for, such as repacking or bubble wrap, are added separately, and import duty and VAT are charged by the destination country.
- How do I make it cheaper?
- Send several orders together. Postage is front-loaded — the first kilo costs more than the next four together — so one box of three orders costs much less than three boxes. We hold your parcels free while you shop and combine them before they leave.
