Buy from British stores and ship to Azerbaijan

Why people use a Cyprus address for this

Since Brexit a British order into Cyprus is an import, so expect the retailer to ask for customs details at checkout.

Azerbaijan sits on the Zone 2 tariff, which makes it better value than its distance from Cyprus would suggest.

A typical the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan shipment

Say you order electronics from Next, then two more things from John Lewis a couple of days later, and they arrive as three separate boxes. All three land at your Limassol suite inside 5–10 days. Left as they are, those three retail boxes bill as roughly 21.6 kg of volumetric weight on the leg to Azerbaijan — because carriers charge for the size of the box, not what is in it.

From there it is 4–10 working days by express or 8–21 working days by post to Azerbaijan, plus clearance. Consolidation costs €5 per extra parcel merged in and repacking €6 — on this lane that is usually recovered several times over.

Questions

Can I really buy from the United Kingdom and have it delivered in Azerbaijan?

Yes. You get a Limassol street address with your own suite number, use it at a British retailer's checkout, and we forward the parcel on to Azerbaijan. The retailer only ever ships domestically or within the EU, which is usually the cheap part.

How long does it take?

Two legs. 5–10 days for the retailer to reach our warehouse, then 4–10 working days by express or 8–21 working days by post to Azerbaijan. Customs clearance at the far end sits on top of that.

What does it cost?

Opening the account is free and you pay only when you ship. The price depends on the weight, size and service: the shipping calculator gives the figure for Azerbaijan in seconds, and your quote shows the full price before you pay, with nothing added at checkout.

Will I pay duty in Azerbaijan?

Possibly — import duty and taxes are charged by Azerbaijan's customs, not by us, and the thresholds change. We show an estimate before you pay rather than guessing. Personal allowances are modest and higher-value goods are assessed at full rates.

Can I combine several British orders into one shipment?

That is the part that saves the most money. Carriers bill on volumetric weight, so three half-empty retail boxes can cost far more than one packed properly. Leave the parcels with us and we consolidate them before the onward leg.
